Founded in 1993, United Offshore Services is a privately owned Dutch company which, together with carefully selected partners, is a European technology leader in the design, production, and supply of large diameter, high performance steel-wire and synthetic ropes, hoisting equipment, and associated products intended for the marine, industrial, and offshore markets. With ISO 9001 LRQA certification, the company has grown to meet the ever increasing demands dictated by its customers with a strong reputation for quality, expertise, and Service.
The office, production and storage facilities are ideally situated on a 30.000 square metre site in Moerdijk, the Netherlands which is a continually growing industrial area located just 30km south of Rotterdam (Euro Port) & 60km north of Antwerp (Belgium) with local deep water harbour facilities for loading / discharging of barges & other sea going vessels making it a perfect location for the handling of heavy lifting equipment etc. The production hall is 5.000 square metres and equipped with a 1300 Mt tension test machine, a 2500 Mt swaging press, two large diameter splicing units and an extraordinary machine (CLM) for the production of large diameter cable-laid ropes. A separate hall houses a unique machine for the production of gigantic cable-laid grommets.
