Cable-laid Slings
Production of a Cable-laid Sling.
Cable-laid slings are produced from cable-laid ropes. The production process involves laying the rope into an eye of the correct size and then splicing it by hand. Most of our clients operate in the offshore heavy lifting industry and they use cable-laid slings to lift jackets and top sides for the installation or decommissioning of oil- and gas rigs. United Offshore Services has years of experience in producing and modifying cable-laid slings. Through time we have gathered experience and built equipment which ensures a precise production process that can adapt to individual needs of clients. Finally, we make sure that each cable-laid sling is personally checked, measured, marked and certified according to international guidelines and specific customer requests. Inspections are performed by our in-house experts and ensure a quality product for the client and helps us to optimize the production of cable-laid slings.
